Back-to-School Shopping: Save on Tech, Clothes and Supplies

Term-start costs add up fast. A short plan keeps the total down.

Buy tech with education pricing

Laptops and software often have education stores that beat public codes.

Shop the sales calendar

Late summer sales and tax-free weekends (where offered) are ideal for clothing and supplies.

Bulk buy basics

Stationery and socks are cheaper in multi-packs. Split with other families if packs are large.

Reuse where sensible

Last year bags and PE kits often survive. Put the saving toward the items that matter.

Use student status

Verify once and use student discounts on clothing, tech and food through the term.
